The fun doesn’t have to stop! Steal a little more time before heading home and drive 3 miles west on Route 23 to the historic Mount Washington House. Located in the center of the hamlet, this 133 year old landmark’s original tavern has antique tin embossed walls and ceilings, an original mahogany bar and three pool tables for a little friendly competition. Reasonable pub style menu features burgers, wings, quesadillas, salads, vegetarian selections and daily specials. With plenty of parking, you can stroll the hamlet’s shops and boutiques after unwinding a bit. Live music most weekends.

Open 4pm Monday – Saturday. Closed Sundays.

Located only 25 minutes west of Catamount via Route 23 in historic Hudson. American Glory is a restaurant and full catering company. Housed in a masterfully renovated old red brick firehouse and specializing in Legendary Wood Smoked BBQ and Classic American Comfort Foods and also offering many vegetarian and gluten-free options. Multi –time winners of the “Best Chili in Columbia County” and Voted “Best BBQ Feast in the Hudson Valley” by Hudson Valley Magazine and featured on the Food Network for their classic N’Awlins Oyster Po Boy.

The restaurant has a beautiful dark wood and mirror bar with the area’s largest Brown Whiskey selection, an abundance of NYS artesian spirits, a variety of 8 local craft beers on tap daily, and a superb list of Prohibition Style Cocktails. The old house has 2 levels – Pub level and a 2nd floor with a spacious dining room with seating for 100. There is also a small private dining room with a fireplace. The 2nd floor is handicapped accessible by elevator.

American Glory is warm and inviting, filled with the aroma of wood-smoked barbeque, hometown comfort foods, enjoyable music, roaring laughter and good times. American Glory is a family restaurant so bring the kids and come as you are as there is no issue with winter skiwear.

Join us for after ski aprés in our fall line lounge – featuring a wide variety of beers and spirits including a locally brewed micro beer. We have a wonderfully delicious pub menu that includes favorites like burgers, hot dogs, hot soups, fresh sandwiches, and our famous homemade beef & veggie chilis. We will also have a smaller menu available for evening dining Wednesday – Saturday 4pm – 8pm.

Our cafeteria style Café Line has all of the choices you and your family are looking for. Choices like fresh made soups, chili, pizza, hotdogs, hamburgers, fresh sandwiches, fresh salads and french-fries just to name a few. Wash it all down with your choice of a variety of hot and cold drinks. We also have weekend specials.

And for all of you early birds out there, our Café Line also serves breakfast daily until 10am. Find a selection of hearty muffins, bagels, egg sandwiches, breakfast burritos and fresh local danishes.
