Learn-To-Packages (Ages 7 & Older)

Catamount offers wonderful Learn to Ski or Ride programs which guarantee new participants ages 7 & older will learn or the next lesson is free. The beginner area for first-timers is the Snowsports Learning Area. This is a wide, gentle slope served by a 300’ Wonder Carpet surface lift that’s as easy to ride as the moving sidewalks at the airport. The program cost is only $75 and includes your 1 ½ hour class lesson, rental equipment and your lift ticket for the Wonder Carpet and the Meadows Triple Chairlift.

With an appropriate level of progress, the instructor may recommend advancing to the Meadows beginner area. This area, served by the Meadows Triple Chairlift, offers the most green circle “easier” terrain in the Berkshires – making it a superb place to learn to ski or snowboard.

Return-To-Learn

Catamount’s Return To Learn program allows an individual the opportunity to progress during a second day of the Learn To Ski or Board package at the same price of $75 provided they are still at the beginner level. Return To Learn provides access to the Wonder Carpet lift in the Snowsports Learning Area and the Meadows Triple Chair lift ONLY. This is a fabulous incentive to improve your skills. Instructors will provide Return To Learn vouchers to students who are still at the beginner level. The voucher can be presented to a cashier on your next visit.

STRIDE

Catamount also features the STRIDE adaptive ski and snowboard program. Instruction is available on weekends by special appointment. Details on adaptive programs can be found online at www.stride.org.
