Winters are more fun when you get outdoors and play in the snow. For eight Wednesdays beginning on January 10, Catamount Ski Area offers Women’s Wednesdays, a series of supportive and challenging ski and snowboard clinics for women, taught by PSIA-certified women instructors.
Groups are small and arranged to address each individual’s experience level and aspirations, from those just starting or restarting to those wishing to advance on tougher terrain in all conditions. Each Wednesday begins with free coffee, a morning warm-up and a one and one-half hour ski or snowboard clinic and the season includes a video session and visits from snowsports suppliers.
This program emphasizes fun and friendship while working to become better skiers and snowboarders. Confidence on the snow is a necessary ingredient for improvement and this collaborative program offers just the right mix of tools for skill development, encouragement, and challenge.
